Bug Description
Binary package hint: blender
On ubuntu 11.04
Blender foundation released a new stable blender version some weeks ago, the most current version is 2.57b, the one available on the ubuntu packages is 2.49b, released on september 2009, more than year and half, the reason is that blender was redesigned from scratch and it's just until some weeks ago a new stable release is available
