Bug Description

THE LONG STORY
I mounted a NTFS partition in /etc/fstab like this: /dev/sda5 /media/NTFSpartition ntfs-3g silent, users,utf8 0 0
Using the setting above, the KDE (Dolphin) and the Gnome (Nautilus) emits the message "cannot send to trash, want to purge it?" However, at XFCE (Thunar) isn't possible to delete a file, so, the following message appears: " Cannot find or create the Trash", so, i haven't the option for purging the file, meanwhile writing and reading are normally possible.

TO MAKE IT SHORT
Thunar doesn't offer the "purge" command to delete a file - it only can move it to Trash, however, it works while removing from pendrives.

My disk was auto-mounted when i tried to access it as:
/dev/sdb2 on /media/Data_400 type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096,default_permissions)
Removing files and directories works fine.

This is the wrong application. Xfce4-volumed is an audio volume management application, not a FS volume application.

Changed in xfce4-volumed:
status: New → Invalid
