Bug Description

Binary package hint: rxvt-unicode

After upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04 urxvt doesn't handle the backspace key as it should. It adds a whitespace for 5 or 6 strokes and then it stops displaying anything.

Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04
rxvt-unicode:
  Installé : 9.09-3
  Candidat : 9.09-3
 Table de version :

Solution is to install ncurses-term.

Hi John,
I've tried this on Quantal alpha, and can't repeat it , with or without ncurses-term installed. Just starting urxt and backspacing seems to work for me.

Can you still repeat it?
