Choosing minimise to tray hides the app but does not add an icons to show the app in the system tray

Icons to show amsn appears in the system tray.

It's not the same as #767095 .

I tried to set all for system tray white list by command on below, it works but very buggy.

gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']"

The aMSN icon shows on system tray sometimes but not always. I've to kill aMSN process and star it again for get it back to desktop.

Hi TommyBoy and anyone else affected.
Could you please try the new amsn 0.98.9-1 from my ppa [1]?
this version is available for precise and quantal and it contains so many bug fixes.
If this doesn't fix the problem set the status back to new
