Easy to get stuck on showing wokspaces

Bug Description
Use case: user clicks workspaces icon to check what it is. Four workspaces show up. User tries to click them, but nothing happens (he doesn't know that he has to use double click). User doesn't know what to do.
(Easy) solution: change the colour or add some indication that the workspaces icon on Unity Dock when it's active, so the user will know that it is active and will click it again to hide the workspaces.

Why do I need to doubleclick anyway? It's the only place of the new interface where I have to doubleclick. When I first used the workspace switcher I had exactly the described problem.
