After 10.10 to 11.04 upgrade, nibbles game runs sluggishly

its more then that, nibbles isn't just running slowly, its experiencing some weird graphics issue even from startup (splash screen)

Sorry for the Dutch. your translation is ok if sluggishly means "like a slug" well that is what's happening to the game. It is also responding slow on my keyboard. Not playable anymore.

The other games Mahjong, Gweled and race Torcs are doing fine. So I think although my card is old it's working fine except in Nibbles.

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable release - Oneiric Ocelot.
