Bug Description

Binary package hint: nspluginwrapper

Some error in upgrading to Natty. nspluginwrapper shows error. Tried to configure it by "sudo dpkg --configure nspluginwrapper" but shows "Segmentation fault". Pls help

I experienced the same problem.
Apparently, the google-talkplugin (64 bit) cause interference. Uninstalling google-talkplugin fixed the problem. (Re)Installing nspluginwrapper (and flash, acroread) work thereafter.

Yes. Removing the Google Talk plugin, Flash automatically got installed.

But to reinstall nspluginwrapper , should i remove it and install it again, or any command for reinstall?

I had the same issue with googletalk plugin on a 32 bit system. Caused a crash.

I looked into the script and found that this lines caused the crash.

NSPLUGIN_DIRS=:/var/lib/flashplugin-installer
export NSPLUGIN_DIRS
nspluginwrapper -a -v -u

I simply removed the link in /usr/lib/firefox/plugin and recreated it after the installation was done.
