Bug Description

I am using classic desktop of Natty on Asus eee 1005px. I have removed the bottom pannel, and moved the top panel to bottom. I use maximus to remove the title bars of the windows. Now when I launch an app, e.g. nautilus or firefox, the windows doesn't fit the screen at the top. About 1 cm gap exists. If I minimize and maximize the app it becomes normal. If I want to select some text on a webpage, I have to keep and drag my mouse cursor 2 lines above the line I want to select and copy. If I open a dialogue or wizard window, the buttons which are at the bottom go below the screen and become invisible.

Looks like it's a maximus issue.

This workaround worked for me:

1) Open CompizConfig Settings Manager (compizconfig-settings-manager)
2) Go to Window Decoration Plugin (under Effects)
3) On the "Decoration windows" field, replace "any" with "!state=maxvert" (without the quotes)
