hm....

fwiw neither rhythmbox nor quodlibet (both libgstreamer based) crash when attempting to play this file. the nightly build of banshee does crash.
in addition i can pass the file directly to gstreamer and it plays a load of digital noise but does not crash:
    gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=Music/01-Slow\ Moves.mp3 ! mad ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! alsasink

so it seems gstreamer is not the problem.
