Just upgraded to 11.04 and now telepathy-gabble uses 100% cpu and automatically restarts when I kill it

Same thing for me after upgrade from 10.04 => 10.10 => 11.04 Telepathy-Gabble uses 100%

My version is 11.10, the problem had afflicted me too.
I had to remove the package.

I am new to Ubuntu, but I have noticed that at least once per day my computer slows to a crawl, and the System Monitor shows that telepathy-gabble is using 100% of "CPU." When I kill this process, everything seems immediately fixed.

When network down or change the network, the telepathy-gabble is using 100% in ubuntu 12.10, please check this bug.

has this bug been solved ? I currently have the same problem, with the latest official ubuntu 13.10 (amd64).
