For now I've uninstalled the Ubuntu Feisty but for future I will reinstall to display that. Question: gdb does not debug only one program?

Does it reproduce to you? Launch as sudo-er user the gedit text editor? (by default I use gksu as the nicest tool to do so). I look on the related bug, and seems related. The behaviour is really similar (there was about launching nautilus).

Probably is a d-bus problem.
