Accessing a 10.10 machine through RDP using xrdp, typing "d" (lower case D) anywhere returnas to the desktop

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xrdp

This can be detoured changing the metacity mapping for "Show Desktop" from <Super>d to "disabled".
As the problem shows only in xrdp, I suppose it belongs to that package.

Refer to the discussion in ubuntuforums, thread 159871. Apparently not reported formally yet.

Seems like this is a problem with the default keyboard shortcuts:
Go to System->Preferences->Keyboard Shortcut
Shortcut for show desktop is "D". If changed to some other combination, it works.

Changed in xrdp (Ubuntu):
