Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Just went from Dapper to Edgy on a Lenovo T60 with hyperthreading enabled. I run BOINC on both CPUs in the background. All was working well in Dapper.
Now, I notice that Firefox (and only Firefox) is *very* sluggish when BOINC is using both CPUs (with the 2.6.27-10-generic kernel). Firefox seems to work fine when I suspend computation in BOINC.
Tried to see if hyperthreading was the problem by booting to 2.6.17-10-386 kernel. No change, but Firefox crashed during experimentation.
I'll attach the crash report momentarily....
