Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
I have this strange regression in Natty. Everything was fine in Maverick.
I have an intel core i3 CPU with the default video card.
I connect the external monitor using the D-SUB (VGA) connector.
First time when I have connected the external monitor, Ubuntu was trying to be smart and automatically enabled the external monitor and disabled the builtin monitor. The image on the external monitor was broken, flickering very hard and it was not possible to see anything on the screen.
I pressed the "external monitor" key from the keyboard and `Display properties" windows was opened with both monitors enabled. Now the image was stable on the external monitor.
I tried various configurations, it it looks like the image on the external monitor is only broken when the internal monitor is turned off.
Thanks,
Adi
