Bug Description
Binary package hint: plymouth
Using Ubuntu Studio 11.04 amd64 installer, selecting entire disk with encrypted lvm, after the install when I'm booting up to the new system, I cannot see the unlocking dialog. After trying to switch to other virtual terminals, I also just see a blinking cursor. But when I try VT7 again, I am then greeted with the dialog. It also works, so only the initial displaying of it is the problem.

Installed a system using the amd64 alternate installer, selecting encrypted LVM for the disk. On reboot the normal plymouth dialog was visible. It is suspected that this is graphics hardware specific? Could we get a copy of the grub.conf on the affected machine please, and also a copy of dmesg from such a boot.
