Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity
I'm playing Devil's Advocate here really.... but the "Ubuntu brandmark and circle of friends.pdf" file [1] that forms part of the Ubuntu Brand Guidelines [2] says clearly on page 7 that:
"The Circle of Friends, when used on its own, [without the word ubuntu] must always have a clear area surrounding it, free from any other element. To define this area, measure the height of the roundel and use a quarter of this measure to create
the boundary of clear space."
The Ubuntu button (or "bfb") does not have the required amount of clear are surrounding it at the top or bottom.

There is a question in an unrelated merge [1] about whether Ubuntu icons like distributor-logo (used here in this bug) should have the spacing built-in or whether the app should do it.
