Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

Description: Ubuntu Natty (development branch)
Release: 11.04
package:
        2.0.0-2ubuntu1 0
                500 http://no.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main amd64 Packages
                100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I Interfered with CD Import library because of duplicate track import.

Expected: Didn't see how Banshee could crash when I'd removed from the duplicate tracks from the library not expect it to work, but at least remove duplicate

Result: Software crashed, and library of "Alice In Chains" was lost including the other previous albums and the last track of the album did not import to computer at all. (music files "/home/user/Music" still intact except last track of that album)

Sigurd, Please can you try to reproduce this issue with Gapless and LibraryWatcher unset? Also if you could attach your "~/.config/banshee-1/log" as a separated file would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm a horrible slow bug reporter, I'm sorry for late response.
"Gapless and LibraryWatcher unset" .. I suppose this is a Banshee config which can be activated using GUI.
I got a tons of cd's to rip over to my music library, what I did wrong was to change the "Artist, Song, Track numer and so on..." that were not competently ripped. why? because album name, track numbers was wrong and so on...
I'll look into it to reproduce such error, if it's still exists.

Seems the log file reports some errors.
this was a wile ago and I suppose a clean Install of 11.04 beta 2 could be the cause.

Is there anything else I can help with?

I removed duplicates, that's what I did!
Like this
track1.ogg track1(1).ogg track2.ogg track2(1).ogg
