I'm testing an installation with orca's screen reader support, but at time zone selection it hangs for minutes buffering all the events, but speaking it after minutes

Thanks for your report.

This is not a problem with ubiquity but more likely with at-spi which sometimes crashes and respawn or fail to reply. Reaffecting.

Tested Ubuntu 20110425 and it appear as fixed, so i mark as fix released

retested, many times, on 20110426 and it don't want to go on the local chooser or download options window
