Bug Description

Binary package hint: guake

I have configured the Unity Launcher to always be visible, and have multiple monitors setup.

When I launch guake, it appears to have the full width of the screen, so it pushes off to the right onto the second monitor.
See attached screenshot for an easier to understand example.

It should stick to the width of a single monitor - taking into account the Launcher.

+1 on this bug, even is launcher is in auto-hide mode, when I press F12, it appears pushed to the right, if I press ctrl+shift+t it opens new tab, and guake gets back to its place, but again if you press F12 to disappear and reappear, it rolls out in a wrong place so I have to alt+right click the window and move it to correct possition... and thats annoying..

this happens on computer with nvidia card, my laptop with intel card seems to be working as expected

workaround: define in "hide launcher" mode to "AutoHide" in compiz config settings manager unit plugin

I think this is related to an old bug, the harcoded width and the impossibility to choose guake default screen (like in Yakuake) :(
Try to modify as root /usr/lib/guake/guake.py, line 817 (get_final_window_rect()), "width = 100", to something like "width = 80".
