Bug Description

Binary package hint: me-tv

I am able to receive 12 tv programs which come in groups of 4 for each channel. After a reboot I always get the error message "Failed to lock to channel". When I quit me-tv and restart it again I can watch the tv program which failed before and I am able to switch to any of the 4 programs in this channel. When I try to switch to a tv program of one of the 2 other channels I get the error message above again. An exit and restart of me-tv then allows me to watch all 4 programs of this channel. Same procedure with the 3rd channel. This is reproduceable always.

Here's a guess, Me TV is simply not waiting long enough. Try using the command line to override the read timeout setting (--read-timeout I think).

What device do you have? Attaching the verbose (-v) output might help.

I have tried "me-tv --read-timeout 20" but that did not help. Do higher values have any effect? What do you recommend?

The lsusb output of the DVB-T device I use is:
ID 0ccd:0055 TerraTec Electronic GmbH Cinergy T XE (Version 1, AF9005)
