Hi Lukas, this backtrace looks more like a GPU lockup (note all the "*Wait*" calls). GPUs are pretty common to Intel graphics.

For these kinds of issues, reproduce the freeze and collect the following:
  * /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_error_state
  * dmesg
  * File bug as ubuntu-bug xorg
