Bug Description

Binary package hint: mc

When I try ti build a DEB package from source, apt-get build-dep ignores e2fslibs-dev package:

$bzr checkout lp:ubuntu/mc
$sudo apt-get build-dep mc
$dpkg-buildpackage -b
...
dpkg-checkbuilddeps: Unmet build dependencies: e2fslibs-dev
...
$sudo apt-get install e2fslibs-dev
$dpkg-buildpackage -b

Everething it's OK now.

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. apt-get build-dep acts on the deb sources file for the version of Ubuntu you are running. If you want to get the build-deps for a checkout, look at get-build-deps in the ubuntu-dev-tools package. Which release were you trying this on?
