Bug Description
Binary package hint: plymouth
I boot up my computer and in the grub menu it does not count down. Then when I select Ubuntu it starts and then before the Login screen it is a unresponsive black screen. If I then reboot and connect a wire to the Internet and run Ubuntu in recovery mode I can then run "repair broken packages". After running this I run "update grub". Then I select run Ubuntu normally. Then when it reboots it count downs from 10 and auto selects Ubuntu. Then it boots just fine. So far I have to do these steps every time I reboot/shutdown my laptop.
