Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

I have a secondary monitor arranged to the left of my primary monitor. Thus, in order to move my cursor to my secondary monitor, the cursor passes over the Unity dock. Frequently, while doing so, it causes the tooltip for an item on the dock to appear. However, while the cursor is on the secondary monitor, the tooltip does not disappear, and the dock is fully expanded (i.e. none of the items are "folded" as they would at the bottom when the items on the dock overflow. While this is a cosmetic issue, I would suggest adding a timeout for the tooltip such that it would disappear after a certain amount of time, unless the issue here is that Unity still thinks the cursor is on the dock while it is on the secondary monitor.

Though I did understand this issue (having faced it around a month ago), it would be better if you provided a screenshot which demonstrates this problem. That way, it would be better for a developer to understand the problem. Thanks!

setting to New it has a duplicate and the description suggest it's an issue when the primary monitor is on the right
