Bug Description

I have a problem with flash videos , the video will be seen on other applications that have black parts on them like "Audacious".
Here what i do to reproduce the problem.
1- open firefox and go to youtube.com play any video .
2- minimize firefox .
3- Open audacious with the default interface.
4- Try to grab the application and move it in the same area the video is played in the background.
I notie that the video and youtube controls shows up in the black area of audacious.

I tried to open nautilus and change the background color to full Black :
Edit > Backgrounds & Emblems > select color > drag the "Black to the nautilus window"
I noticed the video played in firefox (youtube) will show up in the black color of the background.

My video card is Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 ti.
Ubuntu Natty Narwhal 11.04

I tried to take a screen shot or record the screen when the problem happens but the screenshot will not show the video on the black area's, i don't know why !!!

I can confirm the same bug. Ubuntu 10.10 here, with flash installed. Graphical card Nvidia 9600GT. It happens also with flash banners. The banner will show no only in other firefox tabs, but also in nautilus folders. Have tried also to take a screenshot, but the banner won't show up in the screenshot.

Just as an update I upgraded to latest NVidia drivers and flash has become much less stable. Strace of the npviewer system showed a lots of time outs with resource unavailable - just checked my dmesg and found this:

npviewer.bin[10573]: segfault at 418 ip 00000000f60c4d36 sp 00000000ffeb8748 error 6 in libflashplayer.so[f5e57000+b5f000]

I've had this problem since at least 10.04, it continues with latest version of 11.04. It's not specific to Firefox, I've got it in Chromium as well. I've seen other threads mention that Chrome packages its own version of the flashplugin which often fixes this issue.

Nvidia 8600GT
Driver version 270.41.06-0ubuntu1

Flashplugin version 10.3.181.14ubuntu0.11.04.1
(same issue with both adobe-flashplugin and flashplugin-installer packages)

Firefox 3 and also with Firefox 4, (package 4.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.3).
Problem also in Chromium (package 11.0.696.71~r86024-0ubuntu0.11.04.1)
