Bug Description

Hello, I'm a Chinese translator. In my locale(zh_CN), "%a %b %e" should be translated to "%-m月%-d日 周%a". I did such translate in launchpad. But when I click "show date and month" in the preference dialog, the indicator will show nothing. I guess the extra flags(dash) in translation won't work.(maybe...)
The string displayed in the menu works well(original string is "%A, %e %B %Y", and my translation is "%Y年%-m月%-d日 %A").

Please help me, thanks.

I think this might be related to the "," being removed from the original string.

The original string is now "%A %e %B" as per the TimeAndDate spec.

This bug is not in indicator-datetime, but in the translation package instead. Also, after checking here the problem seems to be already fixed.
Feel free to reopen the bug if not.

Changed in indicator-datetime:
status: New → Invalid
Changed in indicator-datetime (Ubuntu):
