Bug Description
if on a different workspace, clicking on an indicator applet like evolution mail does not switch workspace
scenario:
you are working on workspace 2 and evolution mail is open in workspace 1. A new mail arrives and the indicator turns blue. You click on the blue envelope and you see that you've got a mail!. So you click on the unread mail count of the evolution indicator applet, but you are not taken to the evolution mail interface as you are working on a different workspace.
This functionality is avalable in the gnome 2.30 and ubuntu 10.10.

I can confirm that this bug still exists as of 11.10 (and using Thunderbird). Choosing the new mail entry in the indicator marks the mail as read but does not switch Thunderbird to allow me to read it.
