Hi, does this still happen with Oneiric? We have made a bunch of changes to unity_support_test and so it would be great to test again. Marking as incomplete pending some info!

I get this constantly in Oneiric, using normal log in - without NX.

@oded Does apport let you report the crash? We need an updated stack trace to be able to fix it and the one in this bug is pretty old.

This bug was reported on a development snapshot of Unity but lacks elements for it to be actionable:
- there seems to be no reports of further occurences of the issue
- the bug cannot be reproduced reliably
- the information provided is not sufficient to track down the issue to a particular programming error.
Could you please check if this issue is present in the current version, and if it is reopen the bug to a NEW status.

This is happening on a Radeon 9600. Which is pretty old GPU. Please run "/usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p" and report what you get. Also try on Ubuntu Oneiric Beta 2 if possible.

I have tested a Radeon 9800 which is of the same familly has the Mobility Radeon 9600 M10 reported in this bug.
The Radeon 9800 runs Unity 3D correctly and unity_support_test does not crash. I haven't tested this bug in the NX environment as I am not able to do so.
I will mark this bug as fix released. Re-open if the problem still occurs.
