Bug Description

I've configured my shell (zsh) to display the current hostname on the right, bottom side of a terminal window. In gnome-terminal this text is partly obscured by the resize grip. It would be nice to disable the resize grip on gnome-terminal.

There is no such grip in Gnome 3 terminal (Ubuntu 11.10) i suspect this was a side affect of the back porting of the grips to gtk2 by the Ubuntu team.
