Bug Description

Suggestion for Jokosher. There should be a feature to allow Jokosher to size down to a minimal core (perhaps sound input monitor and record/stop/marker button) with an "always on top" type of attitude. That way you can easily do multiple programs without needing to minimize them or resize them. I want to be able to make Markers w/ Jokosher as the recordings go while typing through other applications :D!

Interesting idea. Could you explain in more detail the "make markers with Joksoher" part? I don't really understand what you mean by that. Also is there any reason why this couldn't be implemented as an extension, where you minimized the main Jokosher window and have the mini extension window as "always on top"? Thanks.

Make Markers:
Let's say I'm at church and I'm taking a recording in a service that's being
input to my microphone port from the sound board that does all the mixing.
I want to easily be able to edit the recording after service so I can burn
the audio to CD. I'm going to need to separate the singing from the message
sermon. Markers are little points that let me differentiate segments in my
recording so I can easily find sections I want to clip out or edit. It
could be implemented as an extension -- I just don't know how to program.
Audacity has Markers (known as labels) if you want an open source example.
A mini window always on top extension would work as well though :D

The markers idea has been discussed before and I really like it. However it will only make it into the next release if I'm lucky enough to get sufficient free time.

But making a small extension that is just a window with play, stop, record and set marker buttons would be pretty easy if you know Python. I'd be glad to write if for you if you could send me a picture of what it would look like and a little description of how it should operate.

I've been trying to teach myself python recently :D If there is a tutorial
I could follow to make it happen, I can give it a shot :D! I'll try to make
a nice mock-up sometime soon.
