Performing Maximizing/unmaximizing a window by double clicking the title-bar shifts the window to the right in Unity. Ultimately window gets shifted to another workspace. See the video attached.

Eventually my firefox window crawls to another workspace on repetitive maximizing/restore actions.

This is not a duplicate of bug #760436 as it might seem. The bug #760436 deals with a vertical displacement (downward) of the window separating it from the global menu.

But this bug deals with the leftward shift of the window as a whole. The window ends up in another desktop in a matter of 3 cycles of restoring and maximizing.

a correction in earlier comment : "leftward" should be corrected to "rightward"

This bug appears to happen as well when changing workspaces. Change to a different workspace and the rightmost window on the previous workspace is now partially visible on the new workspace.

The displacement in this case seems to be about equal to the width of the launcher.

No longer happens with Precise for me. Happened with Natty and (I think) Oneiric.
