No button to unmaximise in Unity

Bug Description
When a window is maximised in Unity, its titlebar disappears and the unmaximise and close buttons appear in the menubar. However, in the case of onboard, the buttons do not appear in the menubar; so there is no way to unmaximise onboard.

This looks more like a bug in unity. Apparently windows that don't accept focus aren't currently recognized by unity.
I'll mark this as a duplicate of #746210.
