Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimp

To Reproduce:

  1. Open a new document in Gimp
  2. Select the crop tool and draw a crop rectangle within the bounds of the image
  3. Manually enter a new numerical size in the toolbar/palette

What happens:

Gimp goes into an infinite loop; 100% CPU and no way to interact to Gimp except with 'killall gimp-2.6'

What should happen:

The Crop rectangle should be changed to the new size, just as it would when resizing using the pointer itself.

Could you run ubuntu-bug on gimp when it stops working and attach the report to this bug? That would be helpful.

Also I could not reproduce the bug in Ubuntu 11.04 beta 2 on gimp version 2.6.11.
