Bug Description
Hello, im using Kubuntu Edgy with kde 3.5.5
Also i have propertiary fglrx driver installed for my ATI videocard
When trying to set "Turn off monitor" option from default 5 hours to
my own value, xorg.xonf gets overwritten and X doesn't start next boot,
with following error:
(==) fglrx(0): TMDS coherent mode is enabled
Cannot find any valid mode
(EE) fglrx(0): PreInitModes failed
(EE) fglrx(0): PreInit failed
(II) fglrx(0): === [atiddxPreInit] === end

Thanks for you bug report. I too am running Edgy and noticed that section of control center making strange changes to my xorg.conf file. However, I didn't see it remove the fglrx video driver.
