Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When a window covers half of the desktop (by using compiz' grid feature), the window moves down by about 50 pixels when desktops are switched by clicking on an application on a different desktop in unity or avant-window-navigator. This results in the window not showing up when it was activated, because it sticks into the current desktop, which is not it's real desktop.

Hi, Daniel!

Does this issue still persist on an installation of Ubuntu 11.10 (or the development version of 12.04, per chance?)

Changed in compiz (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete
