By launcher, do you mean the dash (the thing which opens when you click the top-left Ubuntu button)?

You won't find xkill in the dash, because it doesn't have its desktop file. You can start it from Alt+f2 though. Not a bug in Unity. Closing task

(BTW, if its about xkill not opening up from Alt+F2, that's bug #737538)

affects: unity (Ubuntu) → x11-utils (Ubuntu)

okay, understood, so running with alt+f2 works for me
but I thought alt+f2 and click on the ubuntu logo were the same thing actually
so is this invalid or could be a feature request?

I'll set it to invalid; if you definitely think it should be in oneiric, feel free to reopen. Make sure to tag it 'oneiric' so it'll be included in our development queue.

Changed in x11-utils (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
