Bug Description
when pressing the super key for the first time after logging in the dash is not shown. it has to be pressed twice to show dash for the first time. then it correctly works after that. I will attach .xsession-errors
Steps to reproduce:
- login to unity-2d session
- press super key
Expected results:
- dash shown
Results:
- dash not shown

This is actually a larger issue also affecting the Alt+f2 shortcut (to launch the command places) and Super+s to launch the spread.
All these problems are caused by the root problem, a mistake in the way launcher calls the dash or spread over DBUS.
