Hi: I would like to add that this started happening every time I resume from hibernate about a week ago. It was mostly working every time I would resume before that. I take daily updates from Natty-Beta. I just get a blank screen, and hitting any of the Function screen keys, or ALT-F1 to get to a text-console window does not work, either.

Regards, Stefan

I've been having a similar issue with my HP Elitebook 2470p, except that it only affects resume from suspend after approximately every three uses.

I unfortunately have not been able to test this in a "scientific" method as the laptop is mainly used for work.

Hello: It has come to my attention that my Swapspace needs to be as big as my available RAM for hibernate to work properly, and mine is not setup with that much space. I will resize my swap partition to have the same amount, and report back.

I will say, however, that this worked fine in most case under Maverick on this machine. It would occasionally not work when I had all of my RAM used, I do believe, but most of the time I was under my swap amount. ( I have 1.5 GB set for swap on a 3 GB RAM machine.)
