Unable to mute email from bug assigned to team

Hi,

since #72212 keeps spamming me, I would like to request feature which let's you unsubscribe to a bug, which is assigned to team.

I am really tired of receiving those unsolicited mails, and since there is not even option to close bug in that way, you cannot add more comment, something has to be done.

thank you for your report.
You can un-assign the team from that bug and it will be removed from the "Also notified" list.
How does that sound?

Registrant of this bug is Ubuntu Core Developers.

I know that this situation is pretty unique, but it starts getting quite annoying and I don't want to create specific filters for launchpad bugs in my mail system every time situation like this happens.

And it seems to me, that it's not that worthless to implement feature like this, so you can negate "team" subscription.

A small correction first:
The registrant you are refering to is the registrant of the Ubuntu distribution, found in the LHS portlet.

The initial reporter for that bug is 'amiga_os' as you can see in the RHS portlet.

I know that those portlets are a bit confusing , but the whole UI is about to change in the not so distant future.

Yes, you can do it yourself; To un-assign ubuntumembers from that bug just click in the editstatus link.

Muting all team subscriptions is bug 768967. One can mute a single bug today, which makes this bug fix released imho.
