Bug Description
Liferea claims to use GNOME's proxy preferences but apparently doesn't. I use a proxy at the university to access the web, and GNOME's configured to handle it.
I'm currently working on a project for a course, and we must generate RSS. I'm therefore using liferea to test it. The RSS is accessible on localhost, and GNOME's configured not to go through the proxy to access localhost (we also generate a website which is accessible with epiphany without changing anything). However, liferea fails to overlook the proxy, and tries to access localhost through the proxy.
I was compelled to change that myself in the liferea settings.

I think liferea simply retrieves GNOME's settings, but doesn't handle the exceptions defined in GNOME.
