Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

The laptop is HP ENVY 14.
Ubuntu is 11.04 beta
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics 1.3.99+git20110116.0e27ce3a-0ubuntu10

Upon booting up syndaemon sits quietly and does what it has to. Upon sleeping and waking the laptop up syndaemon climbs to the top of `top` with 100% CPU usage. This also causes something called kworker/0:1 to become top reason for CPU wake-ups in `powertop` and makes laptop fan never stop.

After upgrading(?) to Natty this bug reared its nasty head and is causing me to reboot both my laptop and desktop on a regular basis. Exactly who has lost their mind by releasing this bug? Why has it been ignored so long???
Is anyone looking into it?
Thank you!
