Maximising the window causes Unity to lock up at times

Maximising and unmaximising a window repeatedly by either grabbing the window and moving it over the panel or by simply pressing the window buttons causes compiz to hang during the last maximisation. The app name is visible in the global menu but the window disappears.

As you can see in the attachment, WindowManager::Undecorate() calls XGetWindowProperty() and ret is null in xcb_wait_for_reply()
