Bug Description
Binary package hint: calibre
After opening calibre the entire user session will crash and return to the gdm login screen within a minute, give or take. This happens every time calibre is opened, even if the user switches to another application and doesn't perform any task with calibre other than starting it. Command line tools ebook-convert and calibredb add do not crash when used without starting the main program. This problem occurred for the first time this morning after upgrading a large number of packages, and did not occur two days ago (last time I can remember definitely using calibre for an extended period), which was after I'd upgraded to the natty beta. One of the changes in the natty beta in the last two days likely introduced this bug.

This bug persists as of a fresh install of the 11.04 beta 2 on April 18. Calibre is completely unusable. Within one minute of starting the application the entire login session crashes and the user is returned to gdm.
