Bug Description
I've just update ubuntu from 10.10 to 11.04 (64 bit). I've installed meshlab using apt-get. When I try to launch it, the whole desktop freeze. I can just move cursor. Switching to another tty I can kill x server and the whole dekstop reboot.

I can reproduce the issue and have concluded this to be a duplicate of bug 754225
