mouseprobe causes computer hang

Bug Description

To disable the mousepad on Dell Inspiron 1545, I run this command: sudo mouseprobe -r. My computer hang. OS: Ubuntu 11.04 beta 1 64-bit. It worked fine under Ubuntu 10.10 32 bit.

Hi Fabio,
There is no command mouseprobe under Ubuntu 11.10 so I don't know. I'm currently using command xinput list, xinput list-props, and xinput set-prop to disable mousepad
