On resume launcher gets stuck and does not hide

Using Natty with Unity-2D and on resume the launcher gets stuck and will not hide / get out of the way. So the user cannot see applications on the left most part of the screen. Accessing top left menus is not possible. Workaround is to logout.

Can you specify what version of Unity 2D you were trying with? The output of the following command will help determining that:

As Jon described it sticks on the desktop, really can't do anything with it, only to use applications in windowed mode.

Hi!
I found a workaround for this bug:
Installed the package 2d-desktop-settings, then in System Settings > 2D-Dekstop Settings I marked the Auto Hide option. The bug disappeared (so far, I installed this package on 2011-07-23, so I think it really fixed this bug but I have no proof).

I'll update my packages right now, remove the 2d-desktop-settings and see what happens.

On upgrade: apt-get keept back 2 packages (is this my apt fault?): libunity-2d-private0 and unity-2d-launcher but installed the rest. This resulted a disappeared launcher and panel (the launcher was visible about 5 secs, the panel even not appeared), only the context menu was reachable on the desktop. Upgrading these packages from synaptic and a re-log solved the problem.
Now forcing the launcher to bug with some xdotool scripts.

There was no specific way to reproduce it, but it isn't appearing anymore.
No, I can't reproduce it merely by using the launcher like before.
