Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

if a custom .desktop file launcher is dropped on the panel and then removed from the launcher, adding that launcher again does not show it in the launcher unless unity is restarted.

steps to reproduce:
1. create a launcher on the desktop named 'terminal' and ask it to open gnome-terminal
2. drop it over the launcher.
3. now right click on it and untick 'keep in launcher'
4. now again drag the launcher from the desktop and drop it over the unity launcher see the icon is not shown.

And restarting unity (e.g. logging out) allows the given icon to be added to the Launcher again.

I have updated the description and I can confirm that I am able to reproduce the bug. This could actually be related to other several issues where icon for running apps is not shown.
