Hi. I believe that this is connected to Qt 4.7.2 in natty (as opposed to 4.7.0 in maverick). Anyway, this seems to be closely related to the upstream bugs http://code.google.com/p/texworks/issues/detail?id=505 http://code.google.com/p/texworks/issues/detail?id=497 and http://code.google.com/p/texworks/issues/detail?id=469

Can you test if the latest build available at https://launchpad.net/~texworks/+archive/ppa fixes this issue?
