After upgrading packages on new install, system freeze after restart; approximately 2-3 minutes only.

I got this error within a minute of login (with consistency) when using Compiz with full effects. Now after trying no effects option the system lasted around 10-15 minutes, but alas: the same bug reared it's head. If I continue using the system after this error, the final outcome is system freeze after kernel oops.
