It installed unity despite lack of hardware support.

The updater as always stopped in the middle and asked me what to do with Cups.conf cups-pdf.conf and smb.conf It should have continued with the installation and handled these prompts in a separate process. I chose to keep my old configure files.

Problems with unity
It should never have installed in the first place because it could detect that the hardware didn't support it.
After installation
Clicking buttons inside windows did not work including the bug reporting window. Pasting from clipboard did not work. the close minimize maximize buttons did not work. and the "Alt+F2 and run gnome-panel --replace" suggestion did not work it had errors

Logging out and back in did not give an option. I found the terminal icon clicked it and typed sudo apt-get --auto-remove purge unity* and then sudo apt-get install gnome-panel (unnecessary) and restarted and the error reporting dialogs came up again and this time I could click the submit button and here I am. Also the screen keeps blanking but I think that is unrelated. Sorry in advance if I filled this out wrong but the Distro Pushed these bug report automatically.
